Solo traveler who should have known better

Had a bit of a mixed bag, I called the desk for extra towels and they actually brought them to my room! That was a surprise, usually the service is hit or miss in places like this.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain but I managed to get through it.

Our stay was marred by poor maintenance. There were two pit bull dogs roaming the property, making us feel unsafe. To add to our troubles, the air conditioning unit in our room leaked water. We also had issues with the TV. the audio was crackling, rendering it unwatchable. The exterior of the motel was rundown and cluttered, which was off-putting.

The room was clean and spacious, perfect for a cozy stay! Plus, being just a hop over to Manny’s Shrimp Boat for some fantastic seafood made the trip even sweeter.

It was just a proper fit for a brief visit in Livingston with good value for cost. We were disappointed by the lack of a microwave which we planned to use for dinner. Make sure to check room amenities before you book.

Request a room on the second floor for a quieter experience, away from parking lot noise.

My stay was decent. I enjoyed the heated pool and the cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfy, and the whole experience felt quite affordable.
